In-lab sleep study
A sleep study can be completed during an overnight hospital stay in a comfortable, private room equipped to monitor adults, children and infants.
Estimates for testing
For your convenience, an estimate of your out-of-pocket cost for your scheduled procedure will be provided during the pre-registration process. This estimate is based on the average charges for the procedure and your available insurance benefits at the time the estimate is prepared. If you have questions about assistance that may be available for payment of your procedure during the pre-registration process, call 260-266-7500. One of our team members can assist by referring you to a Parkview financial counselor.
Evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders is covered by most insurance companies. Our staff will help confirm insurance coverage and answer your questions. Contact the Parkview Sleep Disorders Lab at 260-373-YAWN (9296).
Scheduling
You will receive a call from our sleep lab within three business days of being referred to schedule your overnight in-lab sleep study. It is helpful to choose your preferred sleep lab location and to have your availability close at hand prior to this call. In-lab sleep study patients typically arrive after dinner and leave around 6 a.m.. If this conflicts with your work schedule, let us know and we will try our best to accommodate. Children younger than 18 are required to have a parent or guardian present during their study.
Results
You will receive a phone call with the results of your sleep study within two to three weeks. For more information, contact the Parkview Sleep Disorders Center at 260-373-YAWN (9296).
