Direct Access Testing

Parkview Health Laboratories is offering Direct Access Testing (DAT) for COVID-19 related tests. DAT provides consumers the opportunity to purchase “patient-authorized” testing rather than obtaining a physician referral for lab work. DAT is available at the locations listed below.

DAT is ideal for those who need COVID-19 test results for work, travel, school, family events, etc. Patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. If you are getting tested for a specific purpose such as travel, please ensure you are selecting the proper test required by your airline, destination or other requiring organization.

If you are currently experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, use our COVID-19 self-checker or call 206-785-2631 to schedule an in-person or virtual appointment. 

Advantages of Direct Access Testing:

• Participants do not need a physician’s order.
• Insurance information is not required.
• No appointment is required.
• Results will be received through MyChart. If you don’t have MyChart, you will be asked to create one. Results can be printed through the desktop platform of MyChart.

• $130 | COVID-19 PCR Testing (results received within 1-2 days)
• $130 | COVID-19 Antibody Testing (results received within 24 hours

Payment

Payment is required at the time of service. We accept check or credit card. Parkview Health Laboratories cannot bill Medicare, Medicaid or your personal insurance provider for DAT services.

How it works

1. Visit a DAT location (see all locations and hours below). No appointment needed.
2. Once inside you will be asked to register, then receive the test. Results will be shared via your MyChart account.
