Targets one of the underlying causes of frown lines and crow’s feet – the repeated muscle contractions from frowning and squinting. When you squint or frown, the muscles between your eyebrows contract, causing the skin to furrow and fold. Over time, as your skin ages and loses some of its elasticity, these repeated contractions can cause persistent frown lines. Neuromodulator injections are used to temporarily improve the appearance of moderate to server frown lines between the eyebrows. 

What to expect during treatment?
Your treatment will take between 10-20 minutes in which your doctor will inject Botox/Xeomin into the muscles in your forehead that cause frown lines. Some patients describe the procedure as feeling like a pinch. No anesthesia is required; however, your doctor may apply a topical anesthetic or cold pack to help ease discomfort. The treatment requires little to no downtime for recovery. You may see visible soothing of frown lines within 3-7 days after treatment with the maximum affect occurring 30 days post treatment. The treatment last on average for 3 months. 

Kybella™

Kybella is a naturally occurring molecule in the body that aids in the breakdown and absorption of fat. Kybella aids in reshaping the outline of the neck below the chin, helping to eliminate what is commonly referred to as “the double chin.” Kybella not only destroys the fat cells but prevents them from accumulating fat so further treatment is generally not required. 

What to expect during treatment? 
You will arrive 1 hour before your scheduled treatment. At this time a nurse will apply a topical anesthetic to the area to help ease the discomfort. You will then receive multiple injections into the targeted area. The actual procedure usually takes only 15 to 20 minutes. After the treatment you may experience some swelling, bruising, or numbness under your chin and the area may be sore. The swelling and discomfort generally last for 1-week post treatment. Most patients will require 2-6 treatments to complete the treatment with 4-6 weeks between each treatment.  

Dermal Fillers

That’s when it may be time to consider a filler injection. Fillers act like your body’s own naturally occurring hyaluronic acid (HA), helping to restore volume to your skin. Each product is designed to give you just the right amount of lift while allowing natural expressions. 

What to expect during treatment? 

Your treatment will take 45-60 minutes with very minimal downtime. Your physician will inject a smooth gel under the skin using a fine needle. No anesthesia is required; however, your doctor may apply a topical anesthetic or cold pack to help ease discomfort.  Once treated your new look may last up to 12 months.
 

Hydrafacial

Hydrafacial is complete facial rejuvenation treatment performed by a licensed aesthetician that cleanses, exfoliates, extracts, and hydrates your skin all in one treatment, often seen as the gold standard for facials. Hydrafacial uses chemical exfoliants, antioxidants, and hydrating serums to leave your skin healthy and glowing. The average time to perform a Hydrafacial is 60 minutes and it is recommended to have one performed monthly. 

Chemical Peels

Chemical peels help to resurface the face by producing a controlled injury that helps in removing superficial layers of skin, promoting the growth of new skin and improved appearance. Peels can be used to help correct problems such as fine lines, winkle, hyperpigmentation, acne, and age spots. 

What to expect during treatment?
The skin is cleansed to remove oils and then a chemical agent is applied for 3 to 5 minutes. During this period, you may feel a mild stinging that subsides after a few minutes. Immediately after a peel your skin may be red and feel tight. You may experience mild peeling that last for 3-5 days. 

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning uses a medical scalpel to gently scrape away dead skin and annoying peach fuzz. This leaves you with smoother brighter looking skin. Since you are removing all your dead skin it also allows your skincare products to better penetrate your skin and provides a smooth base for your makeup. The procedure feels similar to shaving, with absolutely zero pain. A procedure on average last 15 minutes with no downtime. After the treatment you may expect some very light redness. We recommend having dermaplaning performed once a month. 

Fractora

Fractora is a resurfacing treatment that reduces winkles, corrects textural concerns such as acne scaring, and improves superficial skin tone problems caused by sun damage. Fractora helps to reverse the signs of aging, leaving your skin looking vibrant and youthful again. Fractora is most commonly performed on areas of the face. 

What to expect during treatment?
You will arrive 1 hour before your scheduled treatment. At this time a nurse will apply a topical anesthetic to the area to help ease the discomfort. During the treatment the Fractora device will be repeatedly pressed into your skin and a series of needles will penetrate deep into the area. Patients may feel minor discomfort during the procedure. On average the procedure will take 30-60 minutes. Results may be visible immediately with the most noticeable results appearing after 2 weeks. The number of treatments will depend on the individual, but you can expect to have between 1 to 6 treatments, scheduled 4 to 6 weeks apart. Recovery from the procedure is short and often only requires 2 days of downtime before resuming normal activities. You may experience mild redness and swelling after the procedure that will recede within a few days. 

Microneedling

Microneedling uses small needles to create microinjuries to the skin that stimulates your body’s natural healing process to promote cell turnover and promote collagen production. This helps to smooth, firm, and tone your skin skin helping to treat things such as scars, winkles, and large pores. 

What to expect during treatment?

During the procedure your physician will use a device to make tiny pinpricks across the treatment area. The entire process last approximately 30 minutes and most patients experience minimal pain. Your skin may feel tight and red for 1 to 3 days after your treatment. Peel and flaking may occur 3 to 5 days after your treatment. Most patients see results within 2 to 4 weeks with results lasting on average for 6 months. You may require 3 to 6 treatments to maximize your results.

What to expect during treatment?
During the treatment there will be a bright flash of light that feels like a very light rubber band snap, the procedure is describe as virtually painless and comfortable by most patients. On average a treatment will last for 30 minutes. Redness and a slight warmth to the skin is normal and often subsides within 1 hour. Over the next 24-48 hours you may notice a darkening of pigmented spots, in the week afterwards the pigmented lesions will flake off leading to an evening of the skin tone. VBeam
