Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program
Parkview Behavioral Health is committed to providing compassionate care to adults who struggle with the invisible wounds of mental illness. And we believe you should receive comprehensive holistic care in an environment that meets you where you are. That's why we offer the Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), to encourage treatment as part of your daily life.
The Mental Health IOP offers intensive outpatient therapy for individuals who struggle with:
You or your loved one will receive individualized care from a skilled treatment professional to encourage healing and recovery. Through this program, you can:
- Learn to manage medications
- Learn to identify activities or environments that could delay the healing process
- Become more aware of, and learn to appropriately express, their emotions and needs
- Develop skills to change negative attitudes and beliefs
- Build self-esteem and interpersonal skills
- Set healthy goals
- Stay motivated
Outpatient treatment
Sessions are held three hours a day, three days a week, for four to six weeks, enabling you or your loved one to engage in daily routines and continue living at home. Sessions are jointly facilitated by a certified nurse and a licensed therapist.
