Parkview Behavioral Health Institute programs and services
We offer comprehensive programs and services designed to improve your mental and emotional well-being. These may include:
- Inpatient Services
- Inpatient services are referred to when a patient is formally admitted to a facility for their healthcare. Patients stay at the facility each night, receiving treatment full-time until they are able to be discharged home. This model of care allows patients to receive access to trained medical professionals around the clock
- Outpatient Services
- Outpatient services are when a patient is able to receive healthcare without staying overnight in a facility. Patients are able to return home after their appointments and use what they learned in a real-world setting.
- Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
- Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOPs) are a more progressive approach to traditional outpatient therapy when you see a therapist once or twice a week in their office. An IOP is a different type of therapy (both group and individual) where a patient is in therapy for three hours a day, three days a week.
- Partial Hospitalization (PHP)
- Partial Hospitalization is a structured mental health outpatient program that is an alternative to inpatient psychiatric care. PHP patients receive more hours of care each week and are designed for those that are seriously ill but do not require residential care or full hospitalization. Those that have unstable symptoms of their illness and need help avoiding inpatient stays in the hospital are also considered for partial hospitalization.
- Wrap-Around Services
- Supporting youth and their families, wrap-around services are designed for patients that are ages 6-18 years of age who have two mental health diagnoses and risk behaviors. This team approach is individually designed to include treatment services and personal support to achieve the desired outcome.
