Stroke Survivors Support
Parkview Noble Hospital offers a free support group for individuals who have had their lives changed as the result of a stroke.
Participants have the opportunity to share feelings, experiences and coping strategies with each other. The group provides stroke survivors and their families with a friendly, supportive environment in which to meet with others who are dealing with similar issues. Discussions focus on challenges faced by stroke survivors, including preparations for life changes and setting reasonable recovery and rehabilitation goals. The group also enriches the lives of participants through connections to local resources.
The group meets monthly at the Parkview Center for Healthy Living, inside the Community Learning Center, at 401 E. Diamond Street, Kendallville. Reservations are not required. New members are welcome.
