Diabetes Support

Parkview Huntington Hospital offers a free support group for individuals with diabetes to assist them in managing the disease.

Marion Glasgow, RN, diabetes educator, provides information on a variety of topics, including:

• Healthy eating
• Meal plans
• Medications
• Monitoring blood sugar
• Risks of complications

The group meets on the first Monday of odd months, from 4 to 5 p.m., in classrooms 1 and 2 on the lower level of Parkview Huntington Hospital. Reservations are not necessary.
