Any rehabilitation therapy aims to improve an individual’s quality of life while preventing the worsening of a condition. However, occupational therapy (OT) takes it a step further by honing in on improving fine and gross motor skills, helping patients become stronger and perform daily tasks more easily.
This was certainly the case for Hunter when he started his outpatient occupational therapy on the AMADEO® Tyromotion system with Ashley Wilson, MOT, OTL, occupational therapist, Parkview Huntington Hospital. Ashley explained what the AMADEO® rehabilitation device is, its effectiveness in helping patients regain hand mobility, and how it helped Hunter reach his goals, allowing him to get back to his favorite activities.
