You’ve likely heard, “Your donation is appreciated – no matter the amount.” And it’s true. Gifts of all sizes make a difference, but it’s the ‘why’ that differentiates them. Our patients and donors are the reason we seek to inspire generosity and have an impact on our communities.
Generosity has a ripple effect of all sizes, which you can help set into motion during the Parkview Foundations’ Why I Give campaign in support of the Greatest Need Fund. One example of that ripple effect comes from Doug and Stacey Scott.
It was through their hardship as a family that they decided to give back in hopes of comforting other families who may experience the same loss and heartache they did. A routine check-up forever changed their lives, and their daughter’s legacy has touched more than a dozen families since their initial donation.
We encourage you to come together across all our communities to share your story of why you give. Your gifts to Parkview Foundations’ Greatest Need fund will help provide:
- Funding to programs related to patient care experiences, such as patient screenings, medication assistance programs, and temporary lodging for families whose loved ones are receiving treatments during COVID-19.
- The ability to invest in cutting-edge research and innovation with the sole goal of new treatments and improved patient outcomes.
- Life-changing, ongoing training opportunities for our nurses, Parkview co-workers, and area students who are pursuing their nursing degrees or EMT certifications to support our future generations.
This fund encompasses a wide range of patient care needs to provide higher quality, compassionate healthcare. Every donation to the Greatest Need Fund is helping our community become healthier. The Scott family gave the gift of time, love and comfort. You can do the same and make an impact by joining the Parkview culture of generosity. We hope you will share with us why you give and inspire a ripple of generosity. If you would like more information or to make a gift, please visit our Why I Give page or call 260-266-7800.
