With the recent surge and re-escalation of COVID-19 cases, we must all do our part to help minimize instances of exposure. Thankfully, when you’re feeling under the weather, virtual care options are available to help you conveniently and safely connect with a provider. To help take the guesswork out of deciding which one is right for you, we’ve compiled a comprehensive list to make your choice a little easier.

Virtual walk-in clinic

With the Virtual Walk-in Clinic, you can talk to a Parkview provider from your smartphone, tablet or computer and receive the same level of care as an in-person visit at a walk-in clinic. Our providers are available to treat and diagnose non-emergency medical issues, and if necessary, prescriptions are sent right to your pharmacy of choice. Virtual Walk-in Clinic video visits are open to anyone in Indiana or Ohio, even if you don’t currently have a Parkview provider, and estimated wait times are now visible inside MyChart for the Virtual Walk-In Clinic. Common conditions treated via the Virtual Walk-in Clinic can include:

  • Cold, cough and/or flu
  • Allergies
  • Pink eye
  • Sore throat
  • Respiratory issues
  • Sinus problems
  • Skin problems
  • And more

To get started, download the free MyChart app, log in to your account and tap Virtual Walk-in Clinic.

Scheduled video visit with your provider

Rather than travel to your doctor’s office, you can have a virtual visit with your specific Parkview provider using your smartphone, tablet or computer. Scheduled video visits are available for primary care and more than 45 clinical specialties.

To get started, call your Parkview provider’s office and ask to schedule a virtual appointment. Download the free MyChart app, log in to your account and tap Visits.

Submit an e-visit questionnaire

Receive a diagnosis and treatment from a Parkview provider by completing an online questionnaire regarding your symptoms. E-Visits can be completed at any time while providing an efficient, secure way to receive the care you need without leaving your home. This service is open to anyone in Indiana, even if they don’t have a Parkview provider. Common conditions treated by way of e-visits can include:

  • Back pain
  • Cough
  • Diarrhea
  • Headache
  • Heartburn
  • Red eye
  • Sinus problems
  • Urinary problems
  • Vaginal discharge

While e-visits are available 24/7, providers review questionnaires Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m., and provide diagnosis and treatment within one business day. E-visits are not reviewed during the weekend and are only available while in Indiana. To get started, download the free MyChart app, log in to your account and tap E-Visit.
