We’ve spoken at length in this space about the importance of heart-healthy eating. But we were curious … What do the professionals put on their plates? We asked three members of the PPG – Cardiology team to share their food diary for a day.
Dr. Robertson’s breakfast is part of his daily routine and a great source of energy. He also drinks hot water regularly because it hydrates the joints and skin, is absorbed more efficiently and it tastes great.

Dr. O’Shaughnessy starts his day early, which can mean sacrificing breakfast. His food choices depend on what’s available in the physician’s lounge and what his wife cooks at home.

You’ll notice Dr. Chaille’s fondness for milk and simple snacks. His breakfast and mid-morning crackers are daily habits, and his dinner was a special treat prepared by his 12-year-old son.
