Today we celebrate International Corporate Philanthropy Day, a day that is set aside to build awareness and acknowledge the important role of corporate-community partnerships. At the Parkview Foundations, we want to recognize the 757 companies who partnered with us in 2015 to transform lives, change communities, and provide hope throughout the region.
Our corporate sponsors share a vision for ensuring that compassionate, transformative and innovate care is available and accessible in our community. Large corporations and small businesses alike regularly invest funds and engage their employees in generosity to support their community through the Parkview Foundations.
Every dollar invested through the Parkview Foundations is used to enhance the care and services available to our community at Parkview hospitals, specialty facilities and physicians’ offices. In recent years, corporate support has helped fund programs such as the Medication Assistance Program, the Catie B. Circle of Care at Parkview Women’s and Children’s Hospital, and resources such as enhanced EKG and EEG machines at Parkview Huntington Hospital.
Corporate investment often takes the form of sponsorships for local fundraising events such as Parkview Foundation’s Cookin’ Men, Parkview LaGrange Foundation’s Paddle for Parkview, Parkview Wabash Foundation’s Gala, and numerous golf outings throughout northeast Indiana. These sponsorships are important to the success of every fundraiser. Sponsors provide support that encourages attendees and other local companies to join the effort to heal through generosity.
Many companies encourage and support their employees to volunteer at these events. Without our valuable volunteers, fundraising events would simply not be possible. Community volunteers serve on event committees and help create a memorable experience for our guests.
Thank you to all companies, large and small, who are committed to enhancing our communities. We are grateful for your support and proud to partner with you.
