Technology impacts patient outcomes

Wherever respiratory professionals practice patient care, they evaluate patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders, consult with physicians to develop treatment plans and treat patients with a variety of methods.

At Parkview, we utilize state-of-the-art technology and equipment to support the ability of our respiratory and cardiopulmonary teams to contribute toward patient outcome goals.

Cardiopulmonary professionals may participate in training on the use of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) therapy, a cardiopulmonary bypass therapy that functions as a patient’s lungs and/or heart when their own organs can’t do so.

Our Sleep Disorders Lab treats patients with obstructive sleep apnea and central sleep apnea utilizing titration methods and coordinating stimulator devices such as Inspire and REMEDE for all age populations, infant through geriatric.
